MintSense is ReplyMint's AI engine. It classifies comments and DMs by buyer intent, detects spam and unsafe content, and generates replies in your brand voice. This guide covers how to configure your business profile so MintSense works accurately.

MintSense uses your business profile to understand what you sell and how you talk to customers. Your business details are split across two sections:

• MintSense AI → Knowledge — Business description, products, FAQs, and audience
• MintSense AI → Reply style — Brand voice and guardrails (what MintSense should never do)

Your brand name. Used in replies when customers ask "Who are you?" or reference your brand.

A short paragraph about what you sell and who you sell to. Be specific — this helps MintSense detect buyer intent accurately.

Example: "We sell handmade soy candles for home decor enthusiasts who value eco-friendly, long-lasting products. Our customers are typically 25-45, female, interested in wellness and sustainability."

List your main products with names, descriptions, and prices. MintSense uses this to answer pricing questions and recommend products when appropriate.

Format:

• Product name (e.g., "Lavender Dreams Candle")
• Short description (e.g., "8oz soy candle with lavender and chamomile notes")
• Price (e.g., "$24")

Add at least 3-5 products. You can always add more later as your catalog grows.

Common questions and their answers. MintSense pulls from these when generating replies.

Example FAQs:

• Q: Do you ship internationally?
  A: Yes, we ship worldwide via USPS.
• Q: What's your return policy?
  A: 30-day returns, full refund if you're not satisfied.
• Q: Are your candles eco-friendly?
  A: Yes, 100% soy wax with cotton wicks and recyclable packaging.

Tell MintSense how you want to sound. This affects tone, formality, and phrasing in generated replies.

Examples:

• Warm and friendly — like talking to a neighbor
• Professional but approachable — helpful without being stuffy
• Casual and fun — enthusiastic, uses emojis sparingly
• Direct and efficient — clear answers, no fluff

If you have example replies you've sent before, paste one or two here. MintSense will mimic the style.

Guardrails are rules for what MintSense should never do. For example:

• Never offer discounts without approval
• Never mention competitor brands
• Never promise shipping dates shorter than 3 days

Guardrails prevent MintSense from making commitments you can't keep. Add any rules specific to your business.

After configuring MintSense:

1. Go to your inbox
2. Click a message with buyer intent
3. Check the suggested reply in the right panel

Does it sound like you? Does it reference your products and FAQs correctly? If not, go back to MintSense AI → Knowledge (for products/FAQs) or MintSense AI → Reply style (for brand voice) and refine your profile.

You can update your business profile anytime. Changes apply to new replies immediately. Existing suggested replies won't change, but you can regenerate them by clicking "Regenerate" in the right panel.
