Connecting Channels
ReplyMint connects to Instagram, Facebook, and Threads via Meta's official API. This page covers how to connect each platform and troubleshoot common issues.
Connecting Instagram
- Go to Settings → Channels
- Click "Connect Instagram"
- Log in to Facebook (Instagram Business accounts require a linked Facebook Page)
- Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account
- Grant permissions when prompted
If you don't see your Instagram account, make sure it's a Business or Creator account and linked to a Facebook Page.
Requirements
- Instagram Business or Creator account
- Linked to a Facebook Page you admin
- Page must have at least one post
Connecting Facebook
- Go to Settings → Channels
- Click "Connect Facebook"
- Log in and select your Facebook Page
- Grant permissions
Facebook connection enables comment moderation and auto-reply on your Page posts. DM support requires Meta App Review approval (not yet available).
Connecting Threads
- Go to Settings → Channels
- Click "Connect Threads"
- Log in and select your Threads account
- Grant permissions
Threads replies post publicly under your post, just like Instagram comments.
WhatsApp support is coming soon — we'll email you as soon as it's ready to connect. In the meantime, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads are all live today.
Troubleshooting
"No pages found"
If you see "No pages found" during Instagram connection, you likely don't have a Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account. Create a Facebook Page and link it in Instagram settings.
Permission Errors
If Meta shows "Permission denied" during OAuth, you may have skipped granting required permissions. Disconnect and reconnect, making sure to approve all permissions.
Multiple Pages
If you manage multiple Facebook Pages, you'll see a list during connection. Select the Page linked to the Instagram account you want to connect. You can connect additional pages later from Settings → Channels.
Disconnecting a Channel
- Go to Settings → Channels
- Find the connected channel
- Click "Disconnect"
- Confirm
Disconnecting stops new message ingestion. Your inbox history remains readable but you can't reply to messages from that channel.
